Café in St. Paul
My mother-in-law is on a quest. Ever since I’ve known her—14 years or so—she has been on a mission to locate the best, most delicious holiday pies. She’s tried out various restaurants, bakeries and caterers, but hasn’t yet found a winner for her favorite pumpkin pie.
I know that she’ll be thrilled to hear that Black Bear Crossings Café and Banquet Center offers Pam’s homemade pies for the holidays. Whether you like traditional pumpkin, apple or pecan, or want to mix things up with cherry, blueberry, banana cream, coconut cream or lemon supreme, this café in St. Paul has the right pie to top off your Thanksgiving feast. But you do need to plan ahead—be sure to order your pie at least one week before Thanksgiving. Decide what flavor you’d like and call by November 14 to reserve your homemade holiday pie. Just call 651-488-4920×116 to order yours!
When you stop by to pick up your pie, you may want to come over the lunch hour and grab a bite. Black Bear Crossings, located in beautiful Como Park, is not only a coffee shop in St. Paul but also offers a variety of lunchtime menu offerings—including dishes that incorporate that quintessential Native American food, wild rice. Wild rice is found in their signature creamy wild rice soup and their wild rice salad, which changes monthly and includes seasonal types such as apple harvest or spinach. Occasionally, wild rice meatloaf is also on the menu.
Located in the historic Como Lakeside Pavilion in St. Paul, Minnesota, Black Bear Crossings Café & Banquet Center manages one of the best coffee shops and gourmet cafés in St. Paul. Stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Black Bear Crossings Café & Banquet Center also hosts music and events in the park, community meetings and is the ideal historic wedding venue in St. Paul.
