To support the community, Black Bear Crossings Café & Banquet Center has free meeting rooms that small groups are welcome to use. (However, please note that if you will be making a profit from the use of the rooms a small fee is required.)
There are three rooms—two that seat up to 40 people and one that seats up to 20. You can visit the Black Bear Crossings Café & Banquet Center website, blackbearcrossings.com, to reserve a room at no charge.
Each of the community rooms contains a journal so that a living history may be recorded in the space. The rooms are ideal for board meetings, book clubs, office retreats,workshops, and the like.
In exchange for the free use of these rooms, Black Bear Crossings Café & Banquet Center asks that people treat the space with respect, and do not bring in outside food or beverages due to insurance liability concerns and health regulations. The café offers freshly brewed coffee (Oraganic & Fair Trade), lattes and specialty drinks as well as wine and beer. Homemade foods include: breakfast sandwiches, waffle, pastries and desserts, sandwiches, salads, soups & hand-tossed pizza. Gluten free items are also available.! It truly is its own restaurant in St. Paul.
