Summer concert in St. Paul
How many times this week did I hear these words: “Wow, did summer go by fast!” From kids, parents, teachers (especially teachers!), random people on the street—everyone is in back-to-school mode and wistfully thinking of those fleeting, glorious summer days.
If you want to squeeze just a little bit of extra fun out of your summer, join the ADIEU Summer Concert at the Historic Como Lakeside Pavilion, near the Como Zoo, on September 9 at 4:00 pm. As far as family activities in St. Paul go, this one is fantastic—filled with toe-tapping, lively, get-up-and-wiggle-those-hips tunes. The multicultural family event celebrates diversity through international music and dance.
Rain or shine, the Pavilion will abound with Bossa Nova, Brazilian Jazz, and samba, starring Ticket to Brasil and their special guests. So if you’re like almost everyone else I see and not quite ready to let go of summer, have one last hurrah at the ADIEU Summer Concert. Enjoy parks in Twin Cities, soak in the gorgeous scenery and remember to wear comfortable shoes for dancing!
